TECHNOLOGY COMPANY IN PITTSBURGH

Over the past two years company sees 302 percent sales growth, 417 percent employment growth

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (August 22, 2016) – Applications2U wins fastest growing technology company in Pittsburgh and second fastest growing company in the region, across all industries. Between 2013 and 2015, the company grew 302 percent in sales and 417 percent in employment. In an awards ceremony last week honoring the top 100 fastest growing companies in Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Business Times recognized Applications2U for its high growth.

“There are two reasons that allowed our company to grow as much as it has in the past two years: our trusted advisor approach and recruiting top-tier technical talent. We only hire A-players,” said Dan Dillman, president and CEO, Applications2U.

Applications2U’s executive team reports 94 percent of that talent is made up of Pittsburgh-area natives.

Earlier this year, the company’s high growth required Applications2U to expand from a 2,700 square foot office space to a 6,900 square foot office space. Additionally, the company was recently named one of 30 Citrix Platinum partners in the country.

“We aren’t driven by selling new product – we are focused on finding solutions. It has to have business value,” said Dillman.

Adding to the company’s recent accomplishments, Applications2U also received a high-achievement award from RES Software.

Each year, the Pittsburgh Business Times compiles a list of the fastest growing companies in the Pittsburgh region. The list is well known among area businesses and something that many of those businesses look forward to every summer.
