2016 A2U Kennywood Takeover Day
At Applications2U, we always deliver a “fast-user experience” – an outcome we take very seriously in work and
play. From supercar drives with Xtreme Xperience and various sporting events to riding wicked-fast rollercoasters – you can count on A2U to offer the fastest, end-user experience in the ‘Burgh and beyond.
Last Friday, Applications2U hosted “A2U Kennywood Takeover Day” at Kennywood, Pittsburgh’s iconic amusement park. This was an exclusive event for A2U customers, IT friends and their families. A2U guests enjoyed an evening full of fun and complimentary games, rides and food. The best part? We had the entire park to ourselves so there were hardly any lines (as you can see, this made for some big smiles)!
The day started with the “Partner Program,” where customers met event sponsors, attended presentations and entered a drawing to win a drone and several gift cards. Each attendee received a drawstring bag, provided by title partners, Citrix and RES Softw
are.
Later that afternoon, customers’ families joined us at the park and the party really got started! There was entertainment for all ages – from Kiddieland and Noah’s Ark to the Sky Rocket and The Exterminator. And, whether you were a rollercoaster fan or not, everyone welcomed the chance to indulge at “The Patch!”
We wrapped up “A2U Kennywood Takeover Day” at 9:30 p.m. with a laser show, complemented by an exciting, fire display over the lagoon-area. The fun presentation featured oldies and pop song favorites that everyone recognized. As the song and dance winded down, guests left the park with free bags of popcorn and in some cases, more stuffed animals than they could carry!
